10 Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without

Over the years I have tried what seems like thousands of products, and despite what some people may think, I am by no means a product junkie. I tend to stick to things that I like, and things that work. I like tried and true products and don’t deviate much.

There are times when I want to try new products, but I generally won’t allow myself to do so until I have run out of another product that is similar. ( I don’t like too many things around). However, sometimes I just can’t shake a certain product, and I have to stop trying to make fetch happen and stick to what I know.

Some products there is just no replacement for me, and nothing else will do. Like, don’t even bring me a substitute, it just won’t work. So here are 10 beauty products I simply cannot live without!

Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water

I first was introduced to Bioderma Micellar water via the ESSENCE Beauty Box (it was amazing, I can’t believe it’s gone). It quickly became a staple in my skincare routine. It wasn’t until this micellar water that I realized how much residual dirt was left over on my face after cleansing. GROSS! After I ran out, I never purchased it again, and I kept trying to make fetch happen with other brands (who shall remain nameless) and they just don’t cut it. So if it’s not Bioderma, I don’t want it! You can purchase it here.

Oribe Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray

This anti-humidity spray by Oribe is a must have for my ladies with natural hair that are trying to preserve their blow outs! I have to be honest I didn’t believe that it would work, but after my blowout holding up in misty rain for hours with zero swelling and I sprayed it in the day before?!  I WAS SOLD! I absolutely cannot live without it. Did I mention it smells amazing?!?

Callas Lash Glue

I’m very particular about my lashes, and just as particular about my lash glue. I have tried quite a few and majority of them just don’t cut it. By far my favorite is the Callas Lash Glue. It’s latex free, dries quickly, I don’t have to wait for the glue to get tacky, and it holds like rubber cement! (Seriously I’ve had my lashes on in the sauna and it didn’t budge). The applicator makes it easy to apply to lash bands and it’s super inexpensive! You can order it here.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

I have tried other setting powders, and they just don’t work for me. They either leave my skin looking to dry, there is flashback, or they just aren’t finely milled enough. This Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is perfect for me for all over the face, setting highlighted areas, or even baking. I can use it with a puff, a wet sponge, or even a powder brush. There is no replacing this powder for me.

Laura Mercier Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder

After I have done all of my makeup I always go over with my Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder from Laura Mercier. It’s a very finely milled finishing powder not meant to apply any extra coverage to your face, but just give  you the softest glow. If you’re familiar with the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powders or Sephora HD Microsmooth powders, it’s similar, but BETTER.

MAC Prep and Prime Fix+ Charged Water

Most think this MAC Prep + Prime spray is a setting spray but it’s not. It’s a finishing spray and it’s integral for me in my makeup routine. After I have set my face with powder, I will spray this to  help the makeup melt into my skin. Basically you don’t look cake faced or full of powder (read: open casket sharp). It has the most amazing scent and smells like spa in a bottle. I also use it to wet my brush to intensify shadow colors, as well as before I apply any powder highlighter to my face to make it pop.

MAC Extended Play Mascara

I’m obsessed with mascaras. They’re so magical to me, however if I had to pick one for the rest of my life it would be the MAC Extended Play Mascara. I chose this mascara simply for the super tiny and defined wand which grabs my bottom lashes like no other and makes my eye look super open. Because I’m often wearing strip lashes on the top, it doesn’t matter what I use on the top, but the bottom lash mascara matters most!

L’occitane Almond Cleansing Oil

The world should have stopped making cleansing oils for the body when L’Occitane they made this. In my opinion there is nothing better. The lather is rich, the fragrance is divine, and it leaves my body feeling so soft and supple. In conjunction with my mesh body exfoliator (read on for details) I feel like I have new skin!

Luvscrub Mesh Body Exfoliator

This is not your ordinary loofah. This mesh body exfoliator by Luv Scrub is amazing and I can’t shower without it. The antimicrobial body exfoliator is good for 18 months and leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and polished every day. You can purchase here.

Schick Intuition Razor

I have been using this Schick Intuition razor to shave my legs since 2006. I have tried to go back to another razor and I simply cannot. The sheer convenience of the shaving cream being attached to the head of the razor has saved my life over the past 12 years. I mean honestly, who is still lathering up with shaving cream and a conventional razor?!?

What are some products you can’t live without? I would love to know.
